First snow of the season is an exciting time in the Northwest, as Fall shifts to Winter. It's an occasion I always try to photograph each year. The sunrise on this morning was splendid, but a couple hours after sunrise proved to be even better, as the fall color on the foothills of Mt Hood really added to the images.
