Back in 2005 we road tripped all over the country for part 2 of our honeymoon. We spent a couple hours following around the dark ominous skies, and just before sunset the clouds opened up and formed this incredible "supercell" storm which are known for their severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. When we probably should have run for cover, we naively kept getting closer and had the experience of a lifetime, with the photos to prove it.
