An eye-catching image of a lunar eclipse event in April of 2014. When trying to capture a complex scene like this, unfortunately even the best camera gear has severe limitations and cannot simply record the scene like your eyes see it. Advanced techniques of multiple image compositing have to be utilized to record the scene anything like you see with your eyes. Another "not so advanced" technique of simply touching the brakes on my vehicle illuminated the trees with my brake lights.
