It was December and there had been over a week of strange inversion weather which makes the Hood River Valley socked in with clouds and miserably cold, and quite the opposite at higher elevations- sun and warmth! I’ll never forget the feeling of breaking through the clouds and being exposed to views like this. Moments after this image was captured, the low lying clouds receded down and completely out of the frame. I’m so thankful for this beautiful moment in time captured.
