A flight aboard a small plane during peak blossom time earned this extraordinary view of the Hood River Valley and Mt Hood. The light and clouds were difficult to work with this evening, but after a few passes my pilot was able to line up the view of the Hood River and Highway 35 leading up to Mt Hood in the distance, with the whole valley in bloom. A very special place close to my heart, and this image says it all.
