I was camping at a lake a short distance away and found myself out photographing the night sky after relaxing around the campfire. The goal was to photograph the stars over Mt Hood, but clouds kept rolling in, blocking the views. Patience paid off as the clouds formed this wonderful and eerie shape over the mountain, while the stars still shine bright in the sky.
